Sarah Doherty
Sarah Doherty is an artist whose work explores the intersections of art, architecture, urban spaces and technology through installation art and urban intervention projects. Installation works have combined sculptural materials, with video, computer controlled media and light to explore experiential and participatory art. Her urban interventions explore the intersections of creative agency and strategies of place making. She serves on as Interdisciplinary Sculpture & Foundation professor at The Maryland Institute College of Art. Sarah has received numerous grants and awards for her projects including grants from the NEA and the Anne E. Casey Foundation.
